A Fool Thinks Himself to be Wise, But a Wise Fan Knows Himself to be a Fool.

That is a quote from Shakespeare, except I changed one word to make a funny joke.  I think it makes sense the way I did it and I have now improved upon Shakespear, so thats pretty cool.  I think it's important to understand as a fan or supporter of a team that you mostly are a fool.

As a fan you will spend time and money on your team that would likely be better used to improve yourself or surroundings.  You will idolize players who have came and gone, remember some of them but likely not the majority of them, you will essentially be cheering for clothes. You will respond with elation to victories and depression to defeats.  When defeated by large margins you will claim that it is unacceptable.  It is mostly unacceptable because your team should be great, your star players should be the best or at least better than this other team.  There is no logical reasoning to this, only the idea that my team is better because they represent me and me me, i'm good.
